Another Test this time its Working Style

Check it out. Not all are true, but i find it pretty interesting that i got this score. LOL!

Your Working Style

You are friendly, adaptable realists. You rely on what you see, hear, and know first-hand. You good-naturedly accept and use the facts around you. You look for a satisfying solution instead of trying to impose any "should" or "must" of your own. You are sure a satisfying solution will turn up once you have grasped all the facts.

You solve problems by being adaptable, and often can get other to adapt, too. People generally like you well enough to consider any compromise you suggest. You are unprejudiced open-minded, and tolerant of most everyone--including yourself. You take things as they are and thus may be very good at easing a tense situation and pulling conflicting factions together.

With your focus on the current situation and realistic acceptance of what exists, you can be a gifted problem solver. Because you are not necessarily bound by a need to follow standard procedures or preferred methods, you are often able to see ways of achieving a goal by "using" the existing rules, systems, or circumstances in new ways, rather than allowing them to be roadblocks.

You are actively curious about people, activities, food, objects, scenery, or anything new presented to your senses. Your expert abilities in using your senses may show in:

  • a continuous ability to see the need of the moment and turn easily to meet it
  • the ability to absorb, apply and remember great numbers of facts
  • an artistic taste and judgement
  • the handling of tools and materials
You make your decisions by using the personal values of feeling rather than the logical analysis of thinking. Your feeling makes you tactful, sympathetic, interested in people, and especially good at handling human contacts. You may be too easy in matters of discipline. You learn far more from first-hand experience than from books, and do better in actual situations than on written tests. Abstract ideas and theories are not likely to be trusted by you until you have been tested in experience. You may have to work harder than other people to achieve in school, but can do so when you see the relevance.

You do best in careers needing realism, action, and adaptability. Examples are health services, sales, design, transportation, entertainment, secretarial or office work, food service, supervising work groups, machine operation, and many kinds of troubleshooting.

You are strong in the art of living. You get a lot of fun out of life, which makes you good company. You enjoy your material possessions and take the time to acquire you. You find much enjoyment in good food, clothes, music, and art. You enjoy physical exercise and sports, and usually are good at these.

How effective you are depends on how much judgment you acquire. You may need to develop your feeling so that they can use your values to provide standards for your behavior, and direction and purpose in your lives. If your judgment is not developed enough to give you any character or stick-to-it-iveness, you are in danger of adapting mainly to your own love of a good time.

Well thinking back I really do find it true... hehe... If u want to do such test to know urself better i suggest u visit this link: http://www.quizbox.com/

Personality Test

Well... I went to do the personality test that Alex took. It is rather accurate LOL! Here are my results...

Your view on yourself:

You are intelligent, honest and sweet. You are friendly to everybody and don't like conflict. Because you're so cheerful and fun people are naturally attracted to you and like to talk to you.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:

You are a true romantic. When you are in love, you will do anything and everything to keep your love true.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:

You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:

You like to flirt and behave seductively. The opposite sex finds this very attractive, and that's why you'll always have admirers hanging off your arms. But how serious are you about choosing someone to be in a relationship with?

Your views on education

Education is very important in life. You want to study hard and learn as much as you can.

The right job for you:

You have plenty of dream jobs but have little chance of doing any of them if you don't focus on something in particular. You need to choose something and go for it to be happy and achieve success.

How do you view success:

You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:

You are afraid of things that you cannot control. Sometimes you show your anger to cover up how you feel.

Who is your true self:

You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Mostly true about me so gives me less hassle to describe myself haha...

A Beautiful Piano Song

EXAMS OVER! HOORAH!

Ok finally had time to blog.

Have been partying coz my exams are over! XD However, I still have some stuff to do from here, though they are not so stress to do haha.

First up is my External Presentation of my FYP project, ok that is the only stressful one of my task. There will be external examiners taking us and they are all professors not from Ngee Ann. I pray that i won't stutter my words, coz i usually do that when i'm nervous and have no self-confidence on what to present. I mean, if u ask me to present about animation, i would gladly take to challenge! But not for this kind of serious presentation.

Then there is a trailer project my Cell group gave yang wei, eddy, guangjin and me. So far the only active people working on the project is Yang wei and me. The two are just two worlds apart so we could not meet. Even if we did meet, probably is just to see how the progress is.
(Got told off by Cheryl that we showed the raw version of the trailer to the cell group, even if she said to just change some vids, i think its time for eXtreme makeover for the trailer.)

I have my own projects of creating my stories, i've renamed my HEROES chronicls to the Peacemaker Chronicles. So look out for my chapter 1 entry!!! Coming soon.

Other than tat... Hmm... Oh ya... I my friend let me see this AMAZING piano player. He is just playing the keyboard actually, but its his original piece and it sounds like an RPG!!! I will post on him later so do listen he rox! So far he composed 2 pieces.

Other than tat, my day was pretty fun, except when my mom revealed my phone bills were too expensive! =_=" Oh well... Till next time!

Argh... Still got one more Exam paper to go. Stupid Bioprocess Technology, the lecturer is super unpredictable and i need to study ALL the papers just to get the hang of his foolishness... Lets not get to exams... Its like I hate exams, they are so pressurizing, more pressurizing then Projects work. I mean, if you are good in projects, exams is like ur weak-point. And its like in my blood to not talk about exams after the paper.

People would like, after the paper, they keep bombarding you with "Hey how the paper go? U know ah Question what and what is suppose to be this answer le." I would be like "Yea? Well so be it." Then i will feel the dread of not changing my answer. RIGHT! Enough is enough.

Moving on! Probably one of my titles i came up with. Haha. I am still trying to write a good song. Not a perfect one, just one that talks about Life issues and to let people be aware of their own feelings in life as well as the let them out. Christian music... hmm... I dun mind trying. LOL! I mean, sometimes i like to sing stuff not regarding Christianity for once, not coz i dun like the song la! I love gospel songs on the contrary, its just that, I want my audience to be the whole world. Haha... Abit too ambitious? Well, I prefer to think far so as to get better, faster!

Also, probably some of you did not know, I actually write stories. HOWEVER! due to my own itchy fingers, I've accidentally deleted all my archives.... WAAAAAAAH!!!! T_T

Perhaps it means... Its time to come up with a new story! I'll be posting some ideas, if you could e-mail me your comments i would greatly appreciate it.

One of my ideas is:

A Dragon story, a mercenary as the protagonist, however he is a young swordsman. The world consist of a power weld by all he people of that world known as Haru. Its like a spirit energy, a will power that can be used for certain purposes depending on your type of Haru. There are 3 kinds, Fyren Haru, Xerkal Haru and Geomorph Haru.

Story the plot is, the world was in peril, controlled by the Demonic Forces lead by a Dark Lord named Saliviant. Our protagonist, named Khris Vanhala was one of the strongest factions of the Mercenary organization known as the Peacemakers. Their job was to maintain balance in the continent they lived in. However, one day, Khris and his buddy, Jodarian "Joddy" Eberdin, was posted to the King of Tenacia. There they were told to assist the King in whatever he needs. And one of the missions sparked the confrontation of Saliviant. Khris overcame overwhelming odds and barely survived the fight. Saliviant retreated and Khris was left with the confusing thought of his own Haru power. Its not normal. There is a legendary creature that can tell him and teach him to control the wild power within him. Later he found out that his power was not a Haru, the humans had, its one from that legendary creature, a Dragoon.

Theres more to the plot. LOL! But if i review all, its not worth writing. So wait for my other ideas.

So Small...

Well finally! Proteomics is cleared!

Now i have two more exams. Please let me pass it God...

Well for the past two or three days, I've been talking to Gail. Ok not talking, Singing. LOL! And i have lots to thank her for, so Gail, if you're reading this, well... Let's just say its a thank you from me to you.

If it weren't for her, I may not be able to find my musical abilities fascinating. Gail, probably, was the only girl i ever sing to. Ever. I have not sang infront of my friends and even if i had, it wasn't my genuine self. Gail showed me the world of writing music and it has intrigued me greatly. I really do want to write songs, not just saying it, but actually doing it. I really, really need more training.

Well my blog title is So Small. Its actually a title of a song sang by Carrie Underwood, the No.4? or was it 3? Not sure... But who care's about what number American Idol she's from, she's just a pretty DARN GOOD singer!
I love the chorus part and if you watch the MV, it really is touching to the heart, as well as, it made me realise things which we know, but we sort of neglect. That is love with not just family, but with the friends around you and you had to treasure them.

Cause sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
Is just a grain of sand
And what you've been out there searching for forever
Is in your hands
And when you figure out love is all that matters after all
It sure makes everything else seem
So small

Indeed it brings great meaning to the life i've been living. Sure i know I'm a blue, I know who I am in Christ as well as who I really am, but i'm still not satisfied with my life. I needed something, and Carrie Underwood states it clearly, to have a stronger relationship with my family. I guess, after knowing my third year is ending soon, my parents are still rooting for me.

I bet I've made them disappointed for "wasting" their money on me on a course which i did not like it in the end. I feel so ashamed of myself.

I think I'm becoming like Gail! I'm writing a very long post! Ah well... I guess blogs are the only way, I can really place all my feelings into one place. Now to bed i go, its 12.46am, Saturday...

One Piece! AHOY!

Here's a side note. Perhaps it is time to describe why i love this particular anime called One Piece. Some of you will go "Hey, thats a kid's show!" Well let me assure you, if you love action and you love those kind of things where your heroes evolve to the next step to defeat their opponents then this is an anime you should catch.

Perhaps you may not like the animation quality being put into this anime, but it shows intense emotions but yet they became necessary afterwards when the battle reaches the climax. Sure Luffy, the main character always wins in the end, but the battles he fought will make you think, he's going to loose.

Basically One Piece is about the Pirate Age of a world. The pirate age consists of ppl with Devil Fruits abilities. However, if one ate the Devil's fruit he will gain extraordinary powers but at the cost of being unable to swim. So Luffy was one who ate a fruit of a Rubber Rubber Fruit. So he is a Rubberman. See him use many inventive attacks is also part of the comedy factor in this show. In the end, his Gomu Gomu no (Rubber Rubber) attacks are etched into everybody's head and we are always willing to welcome the BAZOOKA Attack which will finish of the opponent.

The opponents Luffy face are all unfair fighters. They fight with weapons and devil fruits abilities that put him in situations that was against him. I still remember the fight he had with Crocodile of the Sand. It was crazy... He nearly died TWICE! In the end he pulled off a stun that touch my heart so much that I cried also. Coz what he fight for is not for himself but others... I will talk more on this haha... I will be posting some magnificent fights that he has survived.

Remember to Catch One Piece Latest Movie. Its about Winter Island where Chopper, the reindeer who can talk joins them.

Music, Gail, Rie and more Stuff

Well well... Had a great day today. Manage to finish my Proteo assignment and handed it in on the Deadline day. YEA! I'm Free!

But only for a while. The Next HUGE Hurdle to tackle are my upcoming exams.
There is Proteomics Exam first, on a Friday. After that, Tuesday(the next week) will be my Instrumentation Exam and the last Exam is Bioprocess Technologies on a Friday(also next week).

After exams, I'm still not off the hook. We will have internal presentation for our FYP and External Presentation as well! Oh boy, this is the part where is really hits the nail on the head. Really nervous! I mean, I am a complete Biotech idiot! Ok i am no, If not how did i made it to 3rd year. Sigh, this semester is really the toughest, but i will not give up half-way yet!

Today, I talked with Gail using Video Call again. MSN Quality was so bad, she told me to use Skype. I mean, it has been around, but i tot that skype was lousy. Yet i proved myself wrong, it was the BEST THING to have video calls la! No lag somemore, maybe an occasional jerk of the picture, but its not very bad. In fact its quite good quality! Anyway this maybe weird but, Gail always want me to on Video Call and hear me play the guitar and sing to her.

Now now, no funny ideas alright. Its just two friends who love music and we appreciate it together. Just that the singer? Was me! HAHA! Well she has been complimenting on my voice and my playing of the guitar. She said I was pretty good! I mean that soared my self-esteem. However i know i can do better. With more training I want to strive more for music and even try writing my songs this year. I plan to aim to write... three songs? Maybe more, but i will stick with 3.

I even finished up Enling's composition, Without a Cost. It has two versions but i do not know if i should put it up first until i have perfected the tune. See To just do one song, its rather tedious because of where i am in the music world. However, I enjoy every minute of it, experimenting the tune and all.

Well i better stop here. I still have more things to cover on Proteomics. Haven't really started studying on it too as I have been doing the Assignment all morning, talking to Rie and Gail all afternoon till night. HAHA! I just love my international friends, they're all so cool!!!!

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!

Once again, Chinese New Year hits Singapore!

When CNY's here, Ang Pow's are HERE! Haha... But pastor ever said that CNY is a time of giving and yes they should give more! Bwahhahahahaha....

Sorry for showing my "evil" side. Haha. Anyway, aside from that, it was a great reunion. Get to meet all the cousins which i get to see like once a year. Hardly see them, and I always seem to get along well with one particular guy and i still do not know his name. Man, its embarrassing.

But i did get to have loads of fun from my Father's side of the family. Not so much on the Mother's side, dunno why too... Bernard and Benjamin Phua are simply BIG BOYS now. Not becoz they are plump, but both were so handsome la! Hard to say they are cousins, almost could not believe it. Regina Phua too has been growing up. She from a little cute girl i know really grew to one beautiful teenager! Its like a "SHOOT UP" period for them. Nearly could not recognise Aloysius Phua too... Tall too, almost taller than me!

Times really change. Its just pretty nostalgic to see your cousins, which u take care off when they were young. And now? THEY ARE ALL GROWN UP!

Still its nice to see my fellow cousins and me still enjoying myself. Just the day before yesterday, Benjamin and I battled it out for a sniping contest on Halo 2. Super fun! I won in the end, but it was a Close fight. haha! After that, we played the normal fighting on Halo 2, like normal weapons of the map, and i won again. HAHA! This time with a large gap. It was fun, both of us were laughing our butts off when we were fighting. Adrenaline rush everywhere!

Well i wish all bloggers a Happy Chinese New Year, the Year of the Rat!
