Past few days....
First of all, to keep you guys up to date... I got a job at Mecomb Singapore Limited. But it was just to help them move their office from Bukit Timah to Jurong West. It was an experience to see how an office moves from one location to another. And I met a fellow temp staff there too, name was Ying Xiang. We sure did loads of packing. At first I did not really talk to him much, because the move was rather hectic. We will be packing and making boxes for the whole office to pack their stuff. I was posted to help out in the Pumps Department.
When lunch came, Ying Xiang and I would eat together and just talk. Interesting and friendly guy he was. Eats sandwich only for lunch, a person who loves most of the things I liked and I would say we can clique well. I have never met someone so alike to me then him. So I've been working with him and other colleagues to shift their stuff.
One name I will always remember during this whole shifting and that is the moving company. K. C. Dat. Truly and amazing bunch of logistic movers. Fast and efficient, they managed to shift most of tables, shelves and other hardware including computers and the numerous boxes in the office, out in just 4 days, which is actually quite fast! And that was only one floor. There was still another floor for shifting which they did it the day after. In other words the whole office shifting actually took nearly a week. A week to shift the FULL OFFICE? I can only say, amazing. One of the colleuges there complimented their efficiency to the person-in-charge. He had something to say: "So long as the attitude is right, everybody plays their part and obey, everything can be done." Which got me thinking.
We christians know that our Attitude determines your Altitude. Yet, we never really could see the result of that happening. Well, this group has just gave me an illustration for an effective force and effective systems that help them move stuff out and postitioning it in the Jurong building all in just 4 days. I overheard they have men at every station point to move the things. There will be some stationed at the Bukit Timah area, another stationed at the Jurong area. In this places they have groups of people stationed at every crucial point like the top of the lift, the bottom level where they are going to load, and for the Jurong side, there are more people as the place do not have a life they have to move it up the stairs... Wow...
Well, moving on. My job at Mecomb later came to packing the store, help unpacking the boxes as well as to do abit of filing and finally chopping letters as the address was all wrong and I had to chop the new address on nearly all the envelopes. LOL! Boring jobs, but I get to spend time with Ying Xiang which I now consider him as a buddy. He loves the anime world and other worlds which I ventured in. Games, abit of music, and he is like a big brother to me during the whole two weeks...
The bad news for me was, I was only there to help for the move and my last day of work was just yesterday... Oh well. It was a timely thing anyway. I will be going for a minor surgery for my dental implants. Yes, remove those pins in my mouth. Its happening this Monday.
Praying for a smooth operation.
Hope this keeps you guys up to date. Oh one more thing... HEROES SEASON 3 IS FINALLY OUT!!! WHOOHOO!!! SO MANY QUESTIONS TO THE NEW SEASON! The first two episodes were aired and whoa, really many things happen at one go. This season could be the best one yet!

Entering a new Destiny...
Like father like son, I started to compare myself with my Dad and see the similarities we both had. To be honest? Both of us are actually VERY similar. My Dad likes to sing, though a little bit out of tune and not at the right timing, in other words, my Dad and I love music. He plays the guitar and harmonica, I play the guitar and learning piano. LOL!
We both love service and dressing up nicely for it too. We will take the effort to dress well when needed to. Also, we have the same way of praying. We will go by a system, like putting our life before God before praying about other things. We love sports or rather, we like to have fun, played soccer until our stomach all pain, not from getting hit by the ball, but from laughing so hard because of all the funny stuns we did.
What does all this got to do with Son-ship? Likewise, our God is our Heavenly Father. What is true in the Natural is True in the Spiritual, truth is parallel. So If I am like my Dad in the Natural, shouldn't we all be like our Heavenly Father in the spiritual?
Also, we come from City Harvest Church and Pastor Kong is like a Role Model to all of us, in other words, Our spiritual mentor, which I can gladly say, he is like a Father to his church, and we are his "children". Therefore, when we go out, we know immediately who are City Harvest Members because we are somehow able to get City Harvest DNA from our very own culture in church.
Its like Singaporeans have a special language called Singlish, punctuate every sentence with a "La" or "Lo". And that defines us as Singaporeans. Its the same for City Harvest! We always clap on the 2, 4. Always, unless abit musically not so inclined then you are forgiven, but naturally we will clap on he 2, 4 beat to every song. Also, we are a church that claps alot. We will also know when to clap at the right time. Most of the time... haha...
But the point here is. We will inherit the DNA of the Church and become what the church was in the first place. We have a certain way City Harvest people will pray. We have a certain "City Harvest" style in the way we do. Sometimes I feel thats why I decided to join City Harvest because I want to adopt this way of spirituallity and not a religious relationship.
I love City Harvest atmosphere created during Jurong West. It was so City Harvest at that time. But somehow, I've begin to feel that CHC all of a sudden did not become what it used to be. It was rather saddening and I think Pastor Kong was a little sad too... Where was the church that will jump at every praise song? Where was the church that was discipline in the church service, not moving around all the time, ready to listen to the word, ready to say "Yes" when a scripture was told to turn to. All this was the City Harvest I knew off... Yet it is sad to see, that the enthusiasm to even attend cell group... was also gone. We have to motivate others to scream and yell when we wanted to, but back then it was all automatic, the fire was wearing out... Sure we are a young adult cell group but I've been to adult cellgroups who seem to be more on fire then the youths! The adult camp has already proven that to me.
I am thoroughly disappointed in City Harvest at some time. But still, we serve One God. Lets not look on the left or the right, look at yourself in your heart. Ask yourself, am I really a City Harvest Memeber... A person who follows a church has to bear the values and the habits of that church, good habits. I once learned that to attain success, we can't just sit on the sidelines, we have to PARTICIPATE. I do not know if I'm putting my point across well enough, but I really want to see the City Harvest I once knew, ever since we moved to Expo, everything's way too different. I mean, we should not stay the same, but that does not mean we lose the personality of who we are. City Harvest is just the same, after all the church is people. You make the decision, whether to join in or not, whether if you want to be a son.
A Son will always build up God's purpose for his life, because not only is he a Servant, but he wanted to be LIKE God, just like how we sometimes are Like our Father. Its the same. What is true in the Natural it is True in the Spiritual...
God Bless and Good Night people...

Army men...
We decided to hang out for dinner and chit-chat over dinner. This is because, my friend Kean, has just POP, in short for Pass Out Parade. In other words, Basic Military Training (BMT) is over for him.
He had some stories to tell of life in the army and one of my friends joining us, named Stedson, was a 3rd Sergent and both of them began to share about army stuff and me and my myanmar friend, Thit Lwin, sat there and listen and laugh along with them.
Occasionally they will turn to Thit and go on saying about the IPPT or Army's NAPFA I sometimes call it. Then they will say he is able to make it to Command School. Then when they turn to me, they will always sarcastically doubt me and say that I won't make it big or I won't make the cut.
It has been like this for years... They still like to talk me down. In fact, it seems that everywhere I go, I have been talked down. Whether is it Strikeforce, in my own cell-group(rarely happens but sometimes) and most of the time with my outside friends, all of them like to "suan" me hokkien for "disturb" or "talk down".
I sometimes feel why am I a male. I mean, I have been made fun when my friends would talk dirty and I do not talk dirty they will start to disturb me. When I laugh along with them, they always ask me why do I laugh. I don't get it? Is it just my lack of communication? Or is it because I am not Man Enough. What exactly is the world's vision of being a man? That I have to talk dirty and speak vulgarities like nobodies business? Those every verb have to be replaced with an f word?
Why is it so hard to communicate openly with them. I mean Kean will sometimes talk to me seriously, but he is the one that doubted me the most. He was the one who say that if I stayed like this, I could not make it. What am I suppose to do? Prove myself? Yea, maybe I will. But what I really dislike was that the fact that I have not went through it and immediately they say that I cannot make it, saying I won't be alert and may get the whole platoon into trouble if I ever enlist.
I was so frustrated at their words, but I did not show it. Instead, I put on a smiling face and never talked back. Because if I did talk back, Kean has a way to counter the words I say.
Yet, I still consider him as my best buddy. He is my music confident, my "teacher" in music and i definately admire his musical prowess. He is also the first guy I have been friends with a long time. He is my only friend that gives me a Reality Check and I need him to be those kind of guy, because without him, I would've probably lived in a Fantasy World of my Own and not do something about the dire situation I was in before.
I guess, the army is really tough if he say that I could not make it, I'll PROVE it. In the name of Jesus I will prove him wrong. God I ask for your strength and discipline, an annointing of being alert at all times. I have to exercise more in order to build up my strength, especially arm strength. I need to get 20 pull ups. Thats my current goal. I need to start training leg power for running and Standing Board Jump. I have to be able to prove, that i can do all things, through Christ who strengthens me...

Urge for a Merge? Or just your Flesh talking...
Its the agony of single and available people. Bachelors and Bachelorettes are all considered DESPERATE!
HOWEVER!
I have a question to post, "Is it really time yet?" Most of us will reach to this question when you see someone you really liked and you say, "thats the right partner for me!" But is it really?
Many fall into the trap of the outward looks and never looked on the inside of the person. I too am a victim of such, honestly speaking, for guys especially. Who won't stare at a girl dressed in a speghetti strap, black silky sexy dress? or even a girl with a bikini on at the beach? If a guy says that he has never took a glance at a girl dressed like that, they are most probably lying. Either that, or theres something wrong with them biologically... Lets not get there.
The point I want to make is Character Triumphs Looks. I actually found that to be VERY true... I have seen some of the girls in my school who were sexy, good-looking and being just how sexy girls are, yet, they are lousy when it comes to helping people, to serving people. Some will whine and even spoke the beautiful language know as "Vulgarity".
Seriously, I have an issue with girls swearing all those profanities. It just seem... Wrong to me. I mean, sure they have been influenced but its just one of the things that I really dislike a girl immediately. Another issue is referring to girls who smoke. Girls, why would you want to have your teeth yellow, or to have breathe that smells like cigerette? Its really something I do not understand. You want to look beautiful but in the end, you destroy your teeth, lungs and eyes will be bloodshot. Whats the point in looking beautiful when you are destroying your insides.
I would gladly throw a listerine water bomb into your mouths.
Don't think I bomb the girls the guys go scott-free. What in the world are guys doing these days? I have extreme issues with guys who always think about sex sex and just sex. I do have friends like that, and I really pity the dude. I mean sure, guys WILL think about sex, but its how you control the thoughts that make you accountable for it. It was preached during FOP when Mark Conner came he said that thoughts are swimming around and you are RESPONSIBLE as well as you HAVE CONTROL to sipphon out the thoughts that were not applicable to lead a righteous path. The thought will come but its your choice whether you want to go along with that thought.
I find that if guys cannot control themselves, it is an excuse for not taking responsibilities over their own life. Understandable that some really could not control themselves. If thats the case they can still choose to go for Counseling and that in itself shows that you need help and you are taking responsibility over it. Overall, as you can see the problem with most guys is taking responsibility.
Yep, me too, I'm struggling in that area too, but I make to choice to give it a shot again. I may fail but I try again to be responsible. The spirit of Resilience is in all of us, women and men. We can change! Theres no such thing as "I can't, I just can't control-" Do yourself a favour, SHUT UP and go and PLAN! Think! What can I do to stop this. If you put the effort, I'm sure you will think of something.
So I've side-tracked again. But yes, how do you know if its the one. Honestly speaking? Its all based on effort. For Christians, we have God's guidelines on choosing the right partner, and its up to you to follow. However, I know we have preference in our partner. Example, I like girls who dress well, physically well proportioned and love arts and performing arts.
So what to do? I am not physically proportioned yet, I have a zero on my tummy for goodness sake and arms like jelly. I always dress in bermudas and t-shirt. If you were like that and lets say you meet a girl who really was super-stunning in a very beautiful dress and you just walk up to her to talk to you. She's not going to pay any attention to you. Come on, I mean, in the end we need to put effort as such that it can meet your requirements in a girl. I mean, you want to have a girl that dress well? Then Start dressing well! You want a well-toned girl? Please do yourself a favour and go and exercise.
I'm not saying this is a SURE-GET thing. Its just a way to heightened your chance. Also since you like this kind of people with arts? Go and mix around with people like that! I believe if you put in the effort, if you seek God and God is the centre of your life, your partner will eventually come.
God Bless! =)

Strikeforce, Drumfest 2008 Coming soon!
I'm going to perform for Strikeforce! Woo hoo! FINALLY! I wanted it to be my last performance actually. I have always wanted to serve in Choir ministry. After the revelation that God has a dream for every one of us and it so happens that one of them is singing and leading praise and worship. So i was planning how am i going to attain that goal. Indeed I want to lead praise and worship in future, whatever platform may be. Whether in cell group, or, in my dream, in my future studio office. That's why I picked up guitar, thats why I made the decision to serve.
Anyway, Strikeforce! Yep, I'm going to play in the Singapore Drumfest 2008! Its going to be big! All the HUGE drummers of this age are going to be there as well as aspiring drummers and musicians are all going to be there! To watch us perform an item on the concert. Wow...
Of course the practice time was a killer. I mean, its on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night, 8pm to 10pm at Joo Chiat. And this week, we have rehearsal on Friday night, venue not confirmed yet. However, we know its going to be a blast!

I Give You My Heart - Hillsong(Unified Praise Version) cover
I did my own version. I hope you will like it! Its finally another COVER after so long!!! XD
W A L L . E Popcorn Smasher
The emotion is there, the drama is there, the entirety of the story plot flows and it has a morale about saving the Earth.
Some of you have no idea how hard it is to make this movie. Well, it is. Trust Me.
All the robot scenes, the transformation and all that hologram stuff? Well, its going to take a very long time to fix all those up. I say that this is PIXAR's breakthrough. The story plot is fantastic, only the director from Finding Nemo can think of something like this. Ok ok let me get straight into reviewing.
At the start of the movie, an old song was played, I myself do not know the title, but its those olden American songs. And afterwards, they revealed an Earth, full of Garbage and a company name B&L always pops up here and again. Afterwards you see a fantastic view of the city of new york and you will see something pretty interesting about the towers there. You will see later our friend, WALL.E a very curious robot.
When they said in this movie there was no talking? They really mean no talking. I mean occasionally, Wall.E will beep and whistle and do all those things that he's suppose to do. You can't help but admire this little machine, able to survive all by himself by using his other Wall.E friends parts to maintain himself. He will gather resources all by himself and he likes to collect funny stuff that we will laugh at.
Of course, then comes the part where Eve appeared and basically he manage to befriend her for a while. There was some sort of one word spoken language that was the first time words were spoken in the movie and subsequently, you guys know from the WALL.E trailer, he went to space because Eve suddenly was taken by the spaceship. So he followed after the ship, always staying on the outside of the ship, poor Wall.E, but he got to see amazing things he did not see on Earth as he made his way to space.
As the story flows, there will be hints to tell you what really happened on Earth and you will find clues as to why Earth was totally empty and where exactly are all the Humans? All this will be slowly revealed. Of course, let's not forget Wall.E's adventure. Do not look down on this little Robot, for he can do great things. =)
I can't say more. All I know was, I had a ride of my life. Also, there were touching scenes here and there which made my heart ache at one point. Its worth the money! to those who do not mind animation.... Haiz... It seems that some people do not like animation and they will immediately find this movie a piece of crap... But i urge you people to understand that this movie is really quite fantastic. It also tells us other morales then saving the Earth... You have to watch to understand folks.
I shall not say anything anymore. Until then, Earthlings, WALL.E out!
Oh By the way: Rating is 4/5 =)

Exams over! What next...
While waiting for the results to materialize I guess I can share what I am going to do next. Probably continue working at Cheryl's workplace.
Continue working is a must. I need the money for my future course or pathway. Indeed arts is a narrow road for me. Still I will give it a go. And before I want to enroll I would like to at least get my basic drawing skills down pat. That is why, I've created a routine that I need to draw. So I got my drawing table ready and sat down and just keep drawing the ideas I have about the story in my book. Its not very nice yet. But I want to keep improving.
My dream will not be an easy road. Both roads that I take are going to be risky. I need to have a job and earn the money for the course. After which I still have army to take care off. Two years of wastage time.
Because of NS I need to set a routine for exercise in order to not suffer in NS. I must do all I can to at least get my arm muscles up-grade.
Other than exercise and drawing, there is the part where I have to write a book. For Elly's sake and to realize my own dream of writing a novel. That was my secondary school dream...
I really pray that the exams will be alright. I do not want to see the same teacher AGAIN. It will be super frustrating! And I can't afford to differ again. Let's just say this path is fixed for now, but i will change out of it soon.

Response to Mike Mike Guglielmucci Controversy
This guy explains it much simpler! Also the same view I had.
Mike Guglielmucci.. by Papa G
This is one of the Responses I feel that we should have to this Mike Guglielmucci controversy.
Money No Enough 2: Special Screening @ CHC
It was an exciting thing! To have a movie screened at a Church was something I have never experienced! And it was indeed the movie for screening.
I could only say that the atmosphere created by our own church after all the graduation service, the holy spirit still lingers in that area. When the movie started, all was quiet and listened and laugh at all the political and funny jokes spoken throughout the movie. However, it was not all jokes and laughter. There were certain parts in the movie which I believe what makes Jack Neo's movie the best to me. I mean, Royston Tan can do 881 and may have topped the charts. The thing was, Jack Neo also have Box Office records before. Even so, I believe that this movie, Money no Enough 2 is one of the most meaningful, most touching and amazing movie he has ever made.
Filial Piety is getting lesser and lesser in our society. So much so, we are influenced so much by the western culture, we tend to follow it a little too closely. Where kids are honoring to their parents are concern, very little have been doing that due to the technology as well as the change of the generation.
In my opinion, we should merge Western upbringing along with Eastern Upbringing. Western in the affirmation and hugs, Eastern for the Honoring of parents and not Sparring the Rod for the child. If we can balance this lifestyle, we are able to become better parents in future as well as to be filial to our parents who have been our providers, sometimes the bad guys because they want to change us, but one thing is for certain, all of them paid a price, to sacrifice for what they have in order to save us, their children, from their situation. Even if they are hurt inside, they still love us, unconditionally and with no strings attached.
The person who acted the mother of the three brothers in this movie, I really take my hat off to her. She really brought out the emotion, not forgetting 'Huey Ge' who really did very well for this movie. Jack Neo wrote the song which appeared near the end of the movie, which was called, Mother is just a name. It was a very sad song, sung in Hokkien.
Jack Neo, I really take my hat off to you. I'll take off as many hats for you, for being so multi-talented, artsy, classy and indeed making a difference in Singapore through film. He has became one of the reigning ranks of Directors I look up to. The song was what made me tear, just to see the meaning being sung, I really felt for the characters within the story and the emotion behind the song was simply powerful.
After the whole movie, Jack Neo came up along with the cast of the show, and the MingZhu Sisters gave a performance to sing that last song of the movie. Mark Lee was not present there, haiz wasted. After the whole event, I went for the autograph session, get to say some words to Jack Neo and the cast, there was a new girl there called Natalie, she's only 18 but she's really beautiful and tall. Ok maybe its the heels, but I bet if she took it off, she will still be taller than me... Haiz... The life of short legs... Anyway, I really enjoyed myself, get to watch this whole movie event with Jiasin and we manage to catch up with one another.
Overall, I started off the weak, soul recharged and reignited with a new passion. To be in the film arena, my medium being animation. I still do not know how to go about serving God using animation as a medium but I know I will find a way there. I will fulfill my destiny that God has placed in my life. Amen and amen.
Another Valley Conqured, Weary soul was restored...
I am just so tired of my fleshly self during that time to study for just one paper. One paper, and my ugly sides were shown. I have been rebellious, been stubborn and unreasonable. It was a challenging time for me as I received criticism after criticism during this week. And when I wanted to study, I was so affected by my circumstance, I did not really look forward towards my exams and my drive to study wavers too soon.
Fortunately, I really thank God for being my helper. When I went to Ngee Ann Poly to look for my lecturer, asking for tips to help me, about 90% of the exam paper, came out what I was told to study. There were some difficulties in the paper calculations and now that the paper is finished, I can seat back and relax!!!
That was what I thought. I actually felt relieved that the exam is over. However, during that whole week, I missed out something, and that is Praising God no matter what the situation.
On that Friday night, the exam day, I went for a concert, invited by my friend Josephine. It was her church concert known as JUMP, Jesus 'U' Must Praise 2008. It was in the open air, Fort Canning Park. When the event started, we just began to sing praises and worship. Although I was new to this event, I did not feel out of place. The group of people there maybe small, smaller that City Harvest. But they are definitely on fire for God. After the event I was tired, but still I remember the true meaning of Praise and Worship, which we all knew but we always forget when we face crisis.
I thought that I could just seat down and relax remember? Well thats my wrong perception. From this day forth its going to be even busier! Rev Alex Abraham from Bethany Church in Indonesia, came to minister to us and give us the Word for both Sat and Sunday Service as these two services was the day of School of Theology, SOT, Graduation ceremony! My cell group members, Junjie and Michelle were students of SOT and we gave our support.
The thing about Rev Alex Abraham, is that he came to preach even when he is still recovering from his Stroke. He was humble after Pastor Kong grace him with all the achievements he had. The moment he came up he said that "I am just a Servant." Immediately I thought of the song, Hati Hamba. Even though he preached in indo language, there was an interpretor to translate to English, i can just feel the presence of God in that room. He shared his amazing Testimony of how he became a Pastor and met God for the first time.
The details are too long but I can say this. There is Power, in the Name of Jesus Christ. He reminded us the one thing that sometimes we always forgot. That God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is ONE GOD. And God dwells in our Heart! Not the address of Heaven, but he dwells within you. Thus we are able to do Great things because God dwells in us! He made some points which I noted that whenever he wanted things to happen, he will always call upon the name of Jesus. Then during the altar call, he wanted to give us an impartation. He called down the Spirit and I was actually touched by the Holy Spirit, giving me a glimpse of the future me. I shall not reveal it. =)
That was just the First Day. Today, he was extraordinary as usual. He talked about how he got his land for his church, another amazing and inspiring testimony. There was a funny part about how he would jog about the land and sing this song: "In the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus, I have the victory. In the name of Jesus, In the name of Jesus, This Land belongs to me." We laughed at that. But the thing is, he got that huge plot of land, Free of Charge because, he did a miracle for the owner of that land. Then instead of preaching further, he felt the Holy Spirit move and asked Pastor Kong to stand so that he can pray for him. I know that at this point. It was indeed a blessing to the whole church.
He gave certain prophetic word and asked the Holy Spirit to empower Pastor Kong as well as to strengthen the church. I felt great confidence in my own body. I felt that big things will be happening in the future. Indeed I felt very excited, with all the upcoming stuff like Asia Conference, its going to be a phenomenal time from this day forth.
Rev Alex Abraham says this: We have only one Life, which God has given us, so Let us Live it All the Way for the Glory of our lord, Jesus Christ.

My Friends who wanna form a band? Well if we can do something like this, I believe we can consider ourselves a band. Take note how they flow especially that drummer. He looks like behind the scenes? Well he's important. He keeps the beat and as a drummer whatever that is a drum should be your passion. Not just Drum sets...

My Lucky Star: Love is all about Character...
I am not the kind of guy who watched Taiwan Dramas. In fact, I did not know of any Taiwan Dramas that captured my attention.
However, thanks to my good friend David, he recommended one series for me to watch.
This drama is entitled: My Lucky Star
This drama, is a MUST WATCH! Seriously, the plot is good, the cast are captivating and it so happens that the main actress in the story is actually a Korean by the name of Yoo Ha Na. Watch out for her, because personally I think she has done the most job in bringing out the essence of the drama. I can't help but to think that this drama, especially Yoo Ha Na the actress, has made me captivated in the scenes of My Lucky Star.
This show is about Jewelery, Romance, Comedy, Action, Racing, Betrayal... Basically its one of those dramas that has everything. Its storyline, whoever came up with it is indeed a genius. This movie is about a Con-women, Xia Zhi Xing who used to make counterfeit jewelery to make a living and scam off rich people. After being caught and living in Jail for 2 years, she is willing to turn over a new leaf. Until he met the 2nd Young Master of the Biggest Jewelery Empire known as E-Shine.
She lets this 2nd young master, an arrogant man known as Zhong Tian Qi, experience her life as she was due to a 'Handcuffed' situation. After which the journey begins when the 2nd young master was freed from the handcuffs and decides to follow Xia Zhi Xing to understand and lead a new form of life then just being the number 2 man in E-shine.
The story is really about Xia Zhi Xing and Zhong Tian Qi's love for each other and how they overcome misunderstandings after misunderstandings. It also help me realize that indeed the truth shall set you free. Altogether the 20 episodes was a roller coaster ride. I can't help but cry whenever Xia Zhi Xing cried during the show.
Even during the Behind-the -scenes short clips, when they said that Yoo Ha Na cried during one of the touching scenes, after the shot was done she still could not stop crying. I have never felt my heart sort of 'break' when she started crying. Its a feeling that I have not felt for a long time. The last time I had this feeling was from watching Kiddy Grade, a Japanese Anime, where my heart was broken when the main character struggle so hard just to clear her name and to find that love was lost once again and that she had no choice but to fight, in the end resulting a lost of her love ones.
Yoo Ha Na was one of the actress which gave me a very very powerful impression. She may play as Xia Zhi Xing but i believe both Xia Zhi Xing character and her own character are similar. Both are innocent and strong in their character values. Caring for their friends, standing strong in moral values, very perceptive of a person's character and is forgiving towards whoever that does her harm. Which is one of the best of her virtues.
I admitted that I sort of have a 'crush' on Yoo Ha Na and her character Xia Zhi Xing, but I know this is just a drama, an act but definitely, I would like to find a partner similar qualities to Xia Zhi Xing, however, this is the real world. So its probably just wishful thinking to find a beautiful, pure and innocent, a heart of Gold and full of forgiveness as well as not letting people run over her head.
Still I wish I could find someone like her. Its just a Benchmark to my preference thats all. Anyway, I'm not in a rush for any romance unless my life is rather stable and I have become physically ' a real man'. Because NS is a hindrance to find relationships, its even hard to maintain when you are in NS. I will be posting Episode 1 of MY LUCKY STAR after my exams on Friday. Do catch it! If not? Well, I'll think of something. =)

HAPPY 43rd BIRTHDAY SINGAPORE!!!
He blessed me with a ticket to go watch the National Day Parade! It was actually a little unexpected then what I had in mind. Its not like what we watch on television, where the crowd will start screaming and shouting. Well only the middle portion will sometimes shout the loudest. I was seated at the west sector of the Marina Bay Seating area. Again this year, Singapore used the Floating platform for their National Day.
When Weiloong and I reached City Hall, it was packed! Such that the MRT had to give announcements! "The Station is crowded. If you are not taking the train please leave the station." Now that is one announcement you won't get to hear often in train stations. LOL! But it was crowded. We had to worm our way through. Weiloong was not carrying much, but I was carrying my guitar bag as it was after Cell Group when we head down together.
Once we reached Marina Square, there are signs to lead us to the ticket admission area. We had to undergo scan check for any malicious items before we proceed to walk to the Marina Bay. As we walk, we could see a sea of Red. Every corner you turn, there are people with Red Shirts. That was Singapore's Way of honoring the National Day. Wear Red Shirts. I wore a Maroon shirt, that was the only Red shirt I had. In fact it wasn't mine, it was my Dad's. I just borrowed.
Anyway, before proceeding to our west sector, we went to get our Fun Packs, its a must for NDP to give out Fun Packs for the survival of the crowd. It was a tote bag and inside was those string bags where you pull the string it will tighten the mouth of the bag. Those kind of bags. Inside there are tidbits, drinks and even some sweets. Of course there are other items like a Air Glove, you've got to blow it up in order to use it. There are lights inside the glove that is used for the night scene. After which, Weiloong and I found seats and then waited for the celebration to begin.
It started with the choir singing some songs and after which other items came to entertain us.
Highlights: National Day highlights are the new Sea display of boats, jet skis and Power Boats, then we have the RSAF Black Knights. That is the F-16 Display in the Air. The Red Lions Parachuters are one of the highlights. But during this time, it was actually drizzling. I had to sacrifice my poncho(located in goody bag) to my guitar bag. Thank God it was only a drizzle so I wasn't soaking wet.
Then the members of Parliament came in. The Prime Minister later and then...
THE CONTINGENTS ARRIVED! One of my favorite parts of National Day, was the different sectors of the army came marching in. Then once the Guard of Honor was in place, the President came to the scene. By this time we were all standing up. Then came the familiar rumble of the start of the national anthem. Then the Chinook helicopter carrying our nation's flag came through the stadium as the song was played. It was a rather nostalgic time for me, because I have never sung the National Anthem for a very long time.
After this, the President check the various ranks while the artillery fire off. Then once it was checked. The Parade commander commands for a 21 Gun Salute. The Guard of Honor would raise their rifles and fire rounds into the air. Don't worry, they are all blanks.
They started to march off the field in an orderly manner. Then the Black Knights came back to show its prowess! It was magnificent. When the pictures are uploaded I'll let you guys see.
Then came the programs. Actually to be honest, the programs were a little boring. Other than that, the occasional Fireworks and Flares kept us entertain, as well as the musical fountain we had. Then came the Grand Finale where this Years Theme Song, Shine for Singapore was sung and together with all the other performance groups for the Grand Finale. We stood up and sang old songs together as one people, one nation and one Singapore. Then it was time to say our pledge:
We the Citizens of Singapore
Pledge ourselves, as one united people
Regardless of Race, Language or Religion
To build a Democratic Society,
Based on Justice and Equality,
So as to achieve Happiness
Prosperity, and Progress for our Nation.
Then we sang the National Anthem one more time and after that, the President will take its leave. And that marks the end of the NDP parade.
I love the theme song for this year, but i prefer the Chinese version to the English somehow. Not because I am a Chinese but the person who sang it was really good. Anyway, It was a tiring day, my eyes keep closing. I shall close by saying Happy Birthday Singapore, For a Better Singapore than Today. Thank you God for protecting Singapore too. God is Blessing you now, God is blessing you now, God is blessing you S I N G A P O R E, God is blessing you now! XD

Hit by the Sian-Disease
Ok maybe its for a few reasons. I am just so tired. Probably because I sleep too late. Or maybe its because of the Final Exam coming. Perhaps its the job I have? It is admin job afterall, abit sian of it. Perhaps all of my energy went to FOP for dancing too much. LOL!
I do have one good news over all the sian-ness I mentioned. I manage to clear my common test! Its a pass! The lecturer do not want to tell me, But I have a feeling its a JUST pass. Nevertheless, I passed. Yet it still does not comfort me. The 2nd Paper was really difficult, what if the lecturer set something so hard that I can't pass my BTN again? Maybe in the end, this was the root of me being sian.
Furthermore, a friend of mine, who I looked up to a role model, has suddenly 'fallen' from where he was. Shall not mention the name. For those who know, you-know-who it was. You don't? Next time then tell you who.
It seems after FOP, the devil decided to start attacking the christians in their walk with God, with their Faith. I felt so drain I admitted that I have not been praying and reading the bible this week. To add on I even played games, not studying. ARGH! WHY ALWAYS LIKE THIS ON THE LAST FEW WEEKS TO EXAM!!!
Anyway, depressed at the moment. But I won't stay this way all the time. I have to stand up. Citius, Altius, Fortius! The motto of the Olympics must ring within our minds.
BEIJING OLYMPICS 2008 will commence today! Don't miss it!

Festival of Praise!!! With the Parachute Band and Rueben Morgan
Probably because I decided before I went for FOP, that I wanted to find God in that meeting. Which I did, all three nights! I love Him more and indeed being in that stadium made me visualize the building that City Harvest was going to built. Its like seeing catching a glimpse of the future interior. Even by looking at the exterior I can even see how it was going to be like. However, I know ours will be bigger, after all, we are impacting the market place.
Back to my topic. Festival of Praise was a time where we can pray for the nation, our nation, Singapore. Indeed I am grateful for being born in Singapore. We can actually do more things for God due to our position. Festival of Praise is also the only time, where all churches from around Singapore can come together in unity to praise and worship the true living God. It was an experience that I can never forget.
The was also Pastor Mark Conner, forgive me if I spelled wrong. He was a very funny and interactive guy, and one more feature of him that really stand out.
He was SUPER DUPER TALL!
Wow... Really tall. But nevertheless, he brought the whole three days of FOP a word from God that really wake up the Singapore churches. The messages were:
1. How A Church Should be Like
2. Growing Old and Growing Up
3. Live the Life of Eternity
Indeed three messages that I am seriously going to apply in my life, especially, number 2 and three message.
I will talk more of the messages if I have the time. But now, I just want to say, PARACHUTE BAND as well as REUBAN MORGON and the Hillsong Team ROCKS!
I have to talk about the Last night of the event. After Mark Conner's preaching, we went into a time of worship. Afterwards come the Praise. And BOY! The Praise was superb! We sang old hits, new hits and then they told us to come to the front of the stage to dance! I immediately turned to one of my friends, Guang Jin. He knew what I wanted and he is also very enthusiastic.
We took off in an instant, we did not manage to get very front but it was still nice to see so many people around me, jumping, yelling, shouting, all praises to God. We jumped and danced till we're so tired. At the end of the whole praise, the pastor came up and told us this.
"You wanted to live in Eternity? Well THIS is what Eternity is all about! Christians all around, regardless of denomination, will come together and praise God together!"
Indeed, everything on that whole FOP was a just a minor glimpse of Eternity. You know what? Even if its a minor glimpse, I still Love it! I cannot comprehend what will happen when Eternity really hits us. We won't be tired, we'll be praising God through songs, through our talents and abilities and even through prayer. Its going to be HUGE! thats for sure.

Birthday Surprise!
Other than that, Cheryl treated me to Ajisen Ramen today! WHOOHOO! It was delicious. I love Japanese Food! I love Korean food too, but I still love Japanese Food. Those in Singapore only haha. For now. I haven't really went to the real place to eat their real menu of food.
Other than all this, one thing i must say. Today, is the FIRST DAY of F.O.P.! For some of you who did not know what FOP is. Its Festival of Praise. Its a time where churches around Singapore come together to pray for the nation and celebrate with songs of Praise and Worship to the one God that brought Singapore to where it is, today.
I decided that this FOP will come forth a fresh anointing. Which will make me grow to the next phase in life. Thats all folks for now. I hope you have a good time

Happy Birthday to ME!
So how did I spend my actual Birthday?
Well, I had a test in the afternoon. =_= Yes a test on my birthday. Thanks for your sympathy Mr Chang (my lecturer). Anyway I went for the test. And even worse, the Paper pulled a fast one on me. He came out a question which I have never learned before. Well actually i learned before but it was LAST SEMESTER's Course that I learn. He said it was tested before but i just could not believe it. Anyway i was really mad that he came out with that question along with the other questions which are hard! But what to do. Its a test meant to kill us, once again. He tell us there are graphs. In the end? NO GRAPH. Liar...
Enough of that. After the test, I went to Jam with my friend at the Aljunied Studio. The First hour, me and my drummer friend, Yan Shun, practiced our instruments first, me on E-guitar.
After which we tried to play "You and Me" by Lifehouse. We manage to get the verse and chorus right at the end of the hour. But it was times-up. We extended the second hour and by then, Weiloong and Bing Xun came to join us.
Both of them started playing church songs and my friend, not christian, played his own thing. And me? I was trying to figure out what song to play. But it was noisy. And yet it was fun too.
Bing Xun and Weiloong started playing the Hillsong hits like Tell The World, One Way drum intro, and even the secular Chinese song, Qing Tian intro. After which we decided on my friends choice of the music.
"STARLIGHT" by Muse.
It is a pretty hard song to sing to as the singer of this song has a pretty high voice. And this song sounds nice when played high so no exceptions. We did the song the whole remaining time we had. It was fun.
After that, we went our way home. Shun and I took the train back. I called my mom to ask if they are having dinner outside, I thought they will remember my birthday. But the moment I heard my mom said that my Father had bought food home. I was a little disappointed. I mean, my brother's actual birthday, we went out for dinner. In the end, my mom caught onto my 'sad' voice and she remembered.
"Oh ya! Today is you special day! I tell you what, I go eat dinner with you. Your brother already got the food Dad bought for him."
So i went to eat with my mom. This was a good chance to share my thoughts with her. Which we had a fun time talking together about certain things. I told her about my wish as well as my dream and how I belong more to the arts sector. Even I realize that at least 80% of my time is dwelling on the arts. Be it music, drawing, film, anime, you name it I do it watch it and sleep with it. For sleeping its music. LOL!
So I am glad we get to converse as well as eat a scrumptious meal of Sakae Sushi's newly installed Teppanyaki area. It was worth the money. $40 plus for four dishes and two chwanmushi, two miso soup, two ice cream sherbet. With add on of sashimi, california maki, and california hand-roll as well as the Soft shell crab. YUM YUM!
It was actually on of the happiest birthday in the end. Get to talk to Rie at night too XD Perk my night up. Really great to have best friends when you have a birthday.

Sunday blues
Was quite happy actually. I guess I am one of those people who really expect something special on my birthday.
I remember there was one occasion on my actual birthday, something bad happen. It has got something to do with relationship with parents.
The good thing was I totally forgotten the details as to what really happen on my actual Birthday. Which is coming soon, Wednesday 30th July!
So my cell celebrated for me. I've got a cake that has bugs bunny, tweety bird and tazmanian devil baby version on my icing. Wow. LOL! It was an interesting cake.
My present was $30 voucher 77th Street Voucher! WOOHOO!!! Time to go shopping for clothes again! Yes, I do shop for stuff if I am given a chance to. haha.
After which there was Prayer meeting. It was ok, at least I get to pray. But my body was 'shutting down' during the last stretch. Like fatigue all of a sudden got hold of me as I really could not concentrate. Plus I haven't eat lunch because I decided to stay back to look after the bags before cell group start.
Really this Sunday nothing much really happen. In fact I kinda feel a little bored. I mean, I did not see Junjie, Enling(I know you got performance so its ok ^_^), and Yang Wei aka David. I have to say this but, out of all the cell group members, probably these people I am rather close to. Michelle too of course, can't leave her out. Haha... Probably because we were there from the beginning N119 was form.
It's been a long time and now N119 has joined up with W280. Some bad things happen, but N119 is still alive. But I kinda feel sad. I began to reminisce the old times where N119 was whole ... There was Yating, Alex, Victor Tham, Kern, Huiqi, Leonard, Huizhen... These people from the beginning. We had loads of fun together. Miss those times when they were around.
But I guess by combining cell group, if we did not combine, I would not have taken the mantle to be a cell group guitarist. I would have never rise up before. I would not have hungered for the word of God especially this season. I have never felt so compelled to linger more in His presence.
It was a blessing in disguise. Yet I know one man is not enough to rise up. Will the man of N119, or W280... Please... STAND UP!

Common Test 2 Blues...
Perhaps its just me. I mean some people love to study. I take my hat off to that person. I wish I was too. I love to learn, but when it comes to learning something that I hate? I guess it becomes a challenge...
But I know I should not give up here. I NEED to pass this. I NEED to give it my all now. I NEED TO REALIZE THIS!!!
If I do not get this Biotechnology Diploma, I won't be able to get into the place I want to go. And also earn the money I need, in order for me to pursue my interest.
Its going to be a hard and narrow road. Which reminds me of what my pastor preached last Sunday. Usually the narrow the way, is the right way. I may not understand, but I decided the narrow way anyway. Because I love that sector of art. I prefer a career to art then to science. Sure science is intelligent, its all about the brains. I actually do not really have the brains for science. I mean, I have an interest, after all science is something that I am particularly curious. Yet, I feel that its an empty life for me there.
Art is also rather empty, except that in a film studio, it won't be. You have to make contact with people. Work together with them, if they have a problem, we help them, guide them. I prefer a working environment where relationships are needed to work it out. I wanted it that way.
I know sometimes I'm not that intelligent in terms of studies, yet I am willing to bet my last dollar in this career choice of Arts. It does not have to be fine arts, performing arts is fine too. =)
I guess I've just motivated myself to study now. I hope I can finish at least the important chapters by tomorrow so I can do some exercises on past year papers.
FOR MY FUTURE STUDIO!!! SHIKINAH STUDIOS!!!

God Works through Men, NOT on Systems!
It was the time when our senior pastor came back from a major mission trip from Indonesia and Taiwan. He was at Taiwan to start the new youth camps over there and it was an amazing time for him. Pastor Kong, however, was investing more of his time in indonesia.
He started to speak of a particular church in Indonesia who has an average attendence of 175,000 people! It may not match up to Korea's yoido full gospel church, but this church is one of our benchmarks to growth in terms of marketplace ministries as well as a blessing to the country.
This indonesian church, started out small, like City Harvest. Their hearts are full but their pockets were very empty. Pastor Kong shared the senior pastor of that church in indonesia. i've forgotten the name of the church so if any of you guys, you know yourself, who knows the church please tell me.
The pastor of that church was indeed a man of miracles. He was a prayer warrior. His faith did not slide from him even when challenges like being jobless, financially scarcity and even health matters, hit on him. He had a powerful miracle in such that his son with multiple sclerosis at birth, after persistant prayer and fasting, his son is now a healthy 30 year old man, had a wife and even have kids! Multiple sclerosis my friends, its like having multiple disabilities, and the doctors thought he was going to be a vegetable for life. But no! As a pastor he asked God for a miracle, he prayed for it and it wasn't instant mind you, it was persistant.
When I heard that I was amazed. If I was the parent, I may have given up hope of my child being healed. But his faith outlasts his disbelief and even disappointement. Truly, a man we should look up to.
Thats not all! His blessings were incredible and why? All due to prayer! His church so big he had to find a land. And a businessman who owns 9 hectres of land which is about 24 footballfields. gave the pastor a plot of land, at 12 football field size, listen, at a price of only $1 Singapore dollar!
"I wouldn't mind having a land at that size for just one singapore dollar!" My pastor exclaimed! Haha...
Thats not all, this church was built into a stadium sized building and there they hold their church services! Furthermore, this church was a blessing to Indonesia itself! The pastor build hospitals, built schools and even built a RESORT! WHOA! Its a resort that christians can use because, there's even a chapel at the centre of the resort for all to praise and worship. Even have services inside there! What an idea!
Now that pastor is onto a new project that will indeed bless Indonesia. He undertook a project, which was thrown away by the government due to its impossiblity to build. The tallest tower in asia that will overtake Petronas towers in KL. It was a word from God that the pastor of that church had. That was to build a tower so that it will show that God has been blessing this country and all will see the Glory of God. The pastor himself, went up to the government and told them he will take this project in his hands! WOW!
Then Pastor Kong made an observation. It was for our church to see, but I would like to share it with you.
Yoido Full Gospel Church: Prays LOUD and LONG and have made it to the guiness book of records as the biggest congregation in the WHOLE WORLD.
The Indonesian Church I talked about: This church prays LONG but not really loud. Yet they still have a high attendence of 175,000 people and yet become a blessing to the nation.
Then he came to our church, CHC: We pray LOUD but not long. No stamina, and we have 30,000 people in average. Thats when we open our eyes. He even put a note that during our 21 days of prayer in June, after that, the church grew to a thousand more added in membership! So lets say, we keep on praying, we have stamina, in no time, we can be like Yoido Full Gospel Church! But that's our problem, we are somehow lazy. I am lazy too... I need to break out of my habit of laziness.
However thats not the main point of this story. This is how, God do not use systems but use man to do the work. That pastor in indonesia, do not really have a great sound system, great lighting. But he had one thing, he loves God wholeheartedly. So much so he was praying, he was fasting, he was hungry for the word, always seeking after God.
I'm not saying that systems are bad. We do need systems to guide as well as to have an excellent spirit, we need systems. However, the most important thing is that God is working through you.
It is YOU who will make the difference, not the system.
But if you do not like yourself, you feel lousy all the time. Then how are is God going to use you for his glory? How are you able to do things for God, when you are just not secure within your heart?
There are 4 areas we need to be secure in:
1. Self-Image
This is HOW WE SEE OURSELVES
You are humbly serving God, yet not losing the Image we have. What is that image? That indonesian church has an example. There are CEO's and businessman over there. On weekdays they work as CEO's they do things CEO's do. Yet they will serve the church as well! How? By washing the church toilets!
Some of you may go. What? A Ceo washing toilets for a church? So dispising, lose our company's face. But these man see themselves as a servant, a person who serves when he has to. When he is the CEO he will live up and serve like a CEO, in church, he wants to serve in everyway possible. These people see themselves as servant for God. Its just how you see yourself.
However, if you do not have a self-image, people will start to put what THEY see in you, and tell you thats who are. Which you are actually NOT! I mean, imagine your friends come to you and say, "Hey you are useless." Then you start to think, "yea i am useless" and for the rest of the time, you label yourself as useless! STOP IT! WAKE UP!
YOU CONFORM THE IMAGE YOU SEE YOURSELVES!!! So what do you see? I do not know about you. But I can see that I am a child of God. I am a servant of God. I do things only for God to see and for his Glory.
2. Self Worth
this is HOW WE VALUE OURSELVES
"What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"
Rom 8: 21
To God, you are everything to him. He created the heavens and the Earth. He made animals, he made birds. He created all living creature and he created man. But he created man in his LIKENESS and IMAGE! He made us special then the rest of his creation, that is human beings.
How do you value yourself? God values you high, as he blessed humans to have the cultural mandate, to have dominion over all the Earth. You are valuble in his sight, the apple of his eye.
3. Self-Esteem
this is HOW WE FEEL ABOUT OURSELVES
"For as he THINKS in his HEART, so is he..."
Pro 23:7
I believe, personally, this is the part which most Singaporeans face. This is due to our culture for being Kiasu, everything has to be based on intelligence.
Primary school: If you are in EM1 and 2 you're ok, you EM3? You are considered lousy. Non-intelligent.
Secondary School: You go into Express Stream or even better, you in Special stream, you are VERY GOOD and veryintelligent. You kena Normal Stream? You are stupid and lousy. This two phases are very hard on children growing up. Their self-esteem got hurt by parents, especially chuinese parents with traditional chinese background. Whatever their child did was never enough.
If their son got a B for his grades, he happily shows his parents his results, only to find the mother disappointed. Worse she says something like this: "Why you never get straight As' like Ah Hock next door? B means you are second, you are worthless."
I have met kids whose parents gave so much pressure. They did not make their kid feel good. Even if the achievement was a big one, they just could not show it. Usually chinese families find it hard to show love, through physical touch. And the child could not feel the love. Thus he did not love himself. Because always the parents made them feel lousy all the time.
"For a man thinks in his HEART" how does a man think with his heart? This implies to your feelings. So what ever you feel, you will become! If you feel lousy, you will in the end feel lousy about yourself. But if you start to think that you can do all things through christ who strengthens me, then you will feel that you can conquer anything! Because you have FAITH that you can do it because Christ is with you.
Faith itself is a Feeling. "Faith is the substance of things hope for the evidence of things not seen." Heb 10:1
Faith is the SUBSTANCE. You can feel it. And faith comes by hearing, and hearing of the WORD of God. So recite the scriptures if you feel your self-esteem level is becoming low. Began to declare faith scripture!
"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, that i will fear no evil! For you are with me, your rod and stave they comfort me." Just to recite a few.
4.Self-Respect
this is HOW I HONOUR MY DIGNITY
SERVANTHOOD IS NOT SERVILE!!!
Being a servant does not mean you have to be pushed around. One example of a servant who has self-respect is non-other than Jesus Christ. Look at how he carried himself. He was always the cool one. When ever something bad happens, he wasn't the one that panicked. It was his disciples and the people around him. Yet he showed class even while casting out demons or performing healing miracles. He was classy.
There is this Hokkien saying: Zuo lang ai ZAI! (be steady, collected in yourself)
We have to be ZAI in our works. We can be a servant but we also have to show 'class'. Have a little self-respect for yourself. Do not be over confident, just have 'class' in what you do. After all we are Christians, we should be the most ZAI people on the planet. We need to be, or else how do we serve when we ourselves panick over a situation.
This four areas will provide security in your hearts. To make you do more things for God.
Just a note to make you guys feel better. Now you know our God is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. What does that make us? We are his children right? What are the king's children called? Prince and princesses right? So aren't we the Prince and Princesses of God? Yes Jesus is the Prince of Peace. We are also called God's Children. So be of good cheer, Prince. Be of good cheer Princess, you guys are of 'Royalty'! Being a royalthy, you should not demean yourself. So act with class. Royal brothers and sisters!
Zuo Lang Ai Zai
That will be your motto from now on folks! XD
Thanks for reading such a long post. I hope you get to learn somthing.

The Dark Knight
I decided to give my ratings first. Its 10/10. Heck it can even be 20/10. Its amazing! Thanks to the Joker's acting. Heath was amazing in this movie.
The whole story started out as Gotham City was under alot of pressure from many mob groups. A rising politician, known as Harey Dent was bent on putting these people into custody. Also meanwhile, there have been robberies of banks carried out by people wearing clown masks and that, was where, the Joker was introduced.
This whole movie is 2 and a half Hours. WORTH IT!
Batman could never be so human in this flick. It was always a great challenge whenever Batman faces Joker. It was two sides of the world if you put these two faces together. Joker represents the mindless, the totally immoral, the madness, the insanity of corruption. He was the Joker.
Batman was all what he represents. The symbol of no Corruption, to bring justice according to the law, his self-righteousness is what he has been holding on. Batman was hope, justice, peace, love, a symbol that will help in times of need. Yet he was only human.
This movie even put in the bad guy, two face, who was Harvey Dent. Corrupted by the words of the Joker and was on a rampage to get things right, his way.
Be assured, at least 90% of the movie is all about the Joker and batman. It was a storm to be reckoned with. Take a journey into Joker's past, feel his insanity through his words, his laughter, he was really the representation of the ugly side of all of us. All he wanted was pleasure. The pleasure of KILLING innocent lives. He found it so fun to watch the Batman suffer under all his antics. But this also proves that Joker was not a pushover.
As the movie goes, see how the Joker manipulates people. And even manipulate the whole city. The struggles the Batman have to go through even I had to admit that it was too much for a mere human to handle. And thats the thing about Batman. He is only human. All he had was skills and gadgets. Yet even as he safe the people, he was despised and persecuted. No one liked him. But at the end, Batman made many decisions, some maybe wrong, but all he did was to save the people of Gotham City. When the people need Batman, he would appear but risk getting caught by the authorities.
As I leave it at this so that you can watch, I wanna qoute something the Joker said to the Batman when he was suspended on a wire, at the roof of the building.
"This is what happens when an unstoppable force collides with an immovable object." Joker was saying that he was the unstoppable force because he initiates all the attacks. An immovable object was the Batman. He was immovable in such that he can't be corrupt. He will stand his ground on Justice which oppose the Joker's way of force.
Indeed, I sometimes feel the Joker and Batman are two sides of our lives. Batman being the one that endure everything to the end, or be Joker the one who destroys all in the name, of pleasure.
Of course, If there is the Joker, you can bet Batman is nearby and vice versa.
Cheers =)

Old Hobbies... ARISE!!!
Love the story drama portrayed by th author. Amazing dialogue and the fights are dramatic and interesting. Makes you want to root for the main character alot.
Other than reading... I went back to watching anime! LOL! I know, bad habit. But love the new episodes of anime like Lelouch of the Rebellion, now season 2. Season 2 is really better than the first. Lelouch our nemesis, faces new and very hard enemies to deal with. Can lelouch, a strategist, able to overthrow Britannia, the vile capital tat conquered half the world?
Manga reading is back too!
As you can see, all I ever do is dwell in artistic stuff... Seriously. I never understood why I picked science. Probably it was God's way of disciplining me to be realistic and to meet a new breed of people I have never encountered before. The science people are mostly not my type. Too boring.
Yes i say again. Its the people. The diploma wasn't that bad. It was DIFFICULT. But I can't really say that coz i know every diploma has their own difficulties. Anyway, I'll just leave it at that.
Yup thats all I wanna share for now. Later!

HULK SMASH!!!
Yup its the Greenish Hulk dude. His size is not just for show, his strength was the most incredible anyone has ever seen!
Seriously, do NOT mess with this dude. He packs one helluva punch. Ever since The Hulk showed up on cinema's, some people do not want to watch The Incredible Hulk. Yes the previous Hulk movie was a failure to some. I personally did not watch it, coz I heard the Hulk does not look promising.
Anyway I went to the cinema's to catch this green guy before he phased out from most of Singapore's Cinema's. This Incredible Hulk, was Incredible. The direction to this movie was not shabby at all. With a tinge of humor placed into the gloomy protagonist life and the whole plot was breath-taking. Especially the transformation to the hulk. It was amazing. Surprisingly, the Hulk was not that stupid. He can actually think. He always like to use a torn-into-two vehicle, in this case a car, and use the two parts as "punching gloves" Even the hulk knows a metal car as your punching gloves will hurt pretty bad.
The last part of the movie was simply the best as he battled the Abomination. The Hulk in this movie actually used some of Hulks trademark moves! With stunning Visual Effects, great plot and direction, story was well written and portrayed by Edward Norton, love his acting skills.
Overall, the Green Hulk deserve some credit for this movie.

My path seems decided... where to go now?
At this point of time, most of you would go, "What a waste of your child-hood. You should spent it going out to play with your 'friends'."
Well guess what. I did not have a good childhood. Therefore no friends. I am always the bullies next target, whether I'm in school or even in the Child-Care Centre.
So you're wondering, why am I talking about this when my title states either wise? Reason being, I feel I have to say this out sooner or later, maybe even repeat to those who have never heard about it. So I might as well just pen it down, or in this case blog it down.
All through my child-hood(referring to Kinder-garden 1 and 2 and Primary School Days), I do not bully people, people bully me. Maybe I just irritate some people because I remember I tend to talk too much. And I made the wrong friend for my Primary School. Now that primary school friend, the last time i saw him he was in the same secondary school as me, however, he is in Normal stream. Not saying he is lousy or anything, I really thank God I did not fail for Express in that school, or I may never survive if i enter Normal.
But thats not the main story. The thing was, I even went through fights before. Yes a brawl. I mean, i use to just let them hit me, until I could no longer take it. However, those people I face were just too fast for me (further more they used sticks to hit me).
I even remember one time in the playground, some TEENAGERS (and i was only primary school) took my bike and ran away with it. They came back eventually, not before popping my tires. At that time, I was so scared that they steal my bike and got in trouble, i actually chased them. The whole time, the guys friends were laughing at me, while I desperately tried to chase the guy who stole my bike.
In the end I can only relate to cartoons in the sense, those were like my friends at that time. Sure I use to have friends in Primary 1 and 2, after that, I could not define who are my friends and foes. However, i have a yearning to search for one. Which came to secondary school. Guess what, got bullied again! How infuriating.
This time I wasn't into cartoons as I found out that I was getting obese, i stuck to exercise which is a good transition. However i still watch cartoons but not alot. Only a one or two cartoon flicks.
Anyway i was into Basketball. So i played one time in the court near my house. There was this guy who was actually infamous for being a delinquent in my Secondary School. He was in the court. I for one just shoot some hoops not bothering him. Or at least to me I am not bothering him. Because one time he ask me to get off the court i was like, you are the only one there with a BICYCLE in a BASKETBALL court, why should i move? Den he did the thing I kinda imagined. He grab my basketball and took off with his bike. I just yelled at him, to return it to me. He circled the court. I chased after it of course. Natural reaction.
Then he came to a stop at the centre of the court. He told me to come and get it. I saw him get off his bike. And walk towards me. So i walk towards him too. I hold up my hand to ask for the ball. "return it pls." I said. The guy just look at me and said. "Take it la!" And he held up the ball. I tried to take it, he pull it back. Like he was using me as a partner for basketball. At that time, I really did not have patience. I just grab the ball, my reaction is rather fast, and use my back to to anchor onto his body and pry the ball from his hands. He was yelling all the vulgarities when i did that.
In that moment, he punched my head! A few times, can't really count in that situation. It just hurt. So i used all my strength and snatch the ball away. And walked away from the court. He kept telling me to come back to fight. I said nothing and kept walking away. "you're a coward!" I heard him say. Better be a coward then bully people.
You see, before this incident itself, I actually bullied one of my new found friends in the playground in the park. He was only younger than me by two years. However, he was one stuck up spoiled brat. I went to his house before. His TV was a projector screen. How cool is tat? His maid always tried to tell him off. But he would not listen. And he had a grandmother who always went down with them. Until one day, we had a fight.
We practically pull punches. Actually it was not the first time I went into a fight. So hit him until he fell to the ground. I got on top of him and went hammering away. Even the grandmother tried to stop me, I was able to shun her away. I was caught up in my anger for this guy. Sometimes I feel that it was all of a sudden I realize what I was doing. I was mimicking the bullies that I had in my own life. I realized my mistake and I was afraid. In fact many times, when my anger acted up, I will do alot of things I would never imagine I would do. Like shouting abnormally loud as in really a roar. It wasn't funny.
So I manage to say sorry to that boy, and was friends again. But you know that sometimes it takes time to heal that hurt.
So what does all this have to do with my path? Nothing. But thanks for reading up till this point.
The path I wish to take is the arts path. Because in art, which I only found out in secondary 2, i can express what I feel in colours and in pictures. Since all my life, I live it based on pictures, I have alot of things to say in pictures. But I just could not draw. I can portray it in music? But I always forgot my melody of the music. So i gave up most of my written songs. Coz its written, but no melody. Its still in my archives. Not going to just throw away what I came up. It could be useful in future.
Even music is part of ARTS! I mean, I love music, I love pictures, drawing them, conveying the message. Love manga especially and how they convey the story. By the way, I only got interested in manga because a friend of mine in Secondary 3, kept bringing manga books. And the whole class got into it. First it was the Love Hina saga. Our class maybe the best class (triple pure science double math) and yet we appreciate books. In this class I found book lovers, however mostly I read fantasy fiction. Love to way people portray it in the books and I wanted to make a show out of it!
So the manga bacame my focus, not cartoons. And eventually as I look back at all the things I like to do are all concerning the ARTS! Wow... I do not spend time in the library to research materials in detail? I read all the books that stuff could never happen. Animorphs, Asterix and Obelix comic series, Everworld, Harry Potter etc. Most of the books I love were from K.A. Applegate, but now its Brian Jaques, the creator of REDWALL!!! That was the most amazing series of novels I have ever read.
So now I know I like Arts, I've prayed about it, and God did give me some visions pertaining to me doing some drawing. I was looking forward to the animation field because that way I can reach to the masses easily. Everybody can appreciate animation. I mean Disney was one example! If we can capture the audience like Disney, and bring great detail like the Japanese, then we are indeed a somebody in the world of animation.
However, I have a dilemma concerning which school to go. You see, Digipen is now in Singapore. Its the only University now that is recognized by gaming companies. Yet I do not know if they accept Diploma's from 3D Sense Media school or Eggstory Digital Arts Acadamy, two of these schools I'm looking forward to. Eggstory because of their focus into Film, 3D sense for its versatility in looking for various jobs. However, 3D sense very siong! one year and then you get their diploma. And you are learning EVERYTHING! 2 years for Eggstory but you are only going to learn the normal film industry stuff. I am torn! Digipen is looking for diplomas too. But that problem was already solved. I have a diploma for Biotechnology, which i can use! Reason why i want to get into either of this schools is for the drawing techniques.
Either way all is for the best. Wow, very long post, I hope you did not fall asleep. Haha. Thanks for reading till the end.

Tour de Japon - At Zanarkand (Final Fantasy X)
Indeed, I really love Final Fantasy's music arrangement. Its so professionally done for a gaming music.
Marie Digby is my idol!
Furthermore, it all started from YOUTUBE. Yup, THE youtube. She started off by doing a cover for Rihanna's Umbrella. She hit 6million hits! Of course 6 million for a total "nobody" at that time was indeed amazing.
Heck she can even dwell in the ranks of Colbie Collet! There maybe many singer/songwriters out there, however, so far we have seen only girls who are singer songwriters. Wait, what about Secondhand serenade? He's after all a one man band. Used to be. And now he had his own band. But before, his first album was totally guitar cum piano. But most of the time just the guitar. It was amazing!
Other than that, I still think that Marie is my perfect idol for the music i love. Something from the heart, that touches the soul and who knows, you may even turn someone around with your songs.
That's Marie for you =)

Yea right, as if i can finish all "after this messages". The various hoo-hah i had is based on my own foolishness anyway. Really, why do men never learn? Oh, ya, I'm a man too.
Anyway tonight is going to be hectic for me. Most probably I will be staying late. But God gimme strength to not FALL into Temptation... AGAIN! Well, I may even post another post before I go to bed... So toodles....
This must be the lamest most redundant post I have ever made...

Music to my Ears...
I was once again inspired from a piece played in the Naruto Soundtrack. Yup, its the Naruto anime, NOT the fishcake found in Ramen. Its from the First Naruto not the new one, which is called Naruto Shippuden.
There was a piece called Grief and Sorrow, and another one, Sadness and Sorrow. Both are brilliant. I love this sort of music and the emotion behind it. I also love those orchestra pieces that have emotion in them especially in the Final Fantasy Franchise. All the piano pieces I have. recently, been listening to it and once again spark the desire to learn piano once again. I feel that I can play such pieces. But because I have so many things to do, and to accomplish, I feel that time and money are the factors that hindered dreams.
It sucks to be realistic... It has always been, but being real, will help you to know what you have to do to overcome. And all you can do is focus on the dream you have always had, of what you wanted to be, as a source of strength to carry on... That's exactly what i can do right now...
I still belief that music does heal the soul. Its not meant to make things worse, the only person making things worse is the Devil. Music is birth from God. I mean the angels even have a TRUMPET! Don't tell me thats not a musical instrument!
However, there are such music as the Devil's music. And really, thanks to the Fall, even music became corrupt. Once songs were a form of release of emotions. Now? There are even profanities in the lyrics. I mean, sure, you're angry. You want to express anger through music? USE PROPER WORDS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!
Perhaps its my own personal opinion. Might have hurt some people just saying that. Yet I always belief, especially piano pieces, whether classical, or just a normal soundtrack, is the most beautiful sound ever made.

Popcorn Slammer Times: My Brethren, Enter the world of Heroes!
Ok I'm just bull-craping... but haven't anyone notice that this year, alot of Heroes have came back to the screen?
There was Indianna Jones, back to kick some crystal skull. Narnia's Kings and Queens came back on screen to kick a Telmarine King. Iron Man came to kick and burn some people with his repulsor lasers and amazing attacks! Then comes the Incredible Hulk, a giant in the red corner and not to mention Hancock on the Blue corner of the town. Guess what someone intervenes the two of them. He's red, looks like a demon with a beard and his two horns sawed off. Carries an arm with a gun, yes you guessed it, HELLBOY is making its way into the Ring! Of course upcoming, there is the hero that almost everybody is waiting for. The Dark Knight!
Of course I'm not here to talk about the Dark Knight. Its Hancock. He's one dude you do not want to mess with. Have the same powers as Superman, wreck havoc while saving crime. Had temper issues like if people were to call him a-hole, he just calmed himself down first and went. "Call me a-hole, one more time." And then he expects them to say it. My advise, don't SAY IT!
Hancock is very much a comedy, for a 1 and a half hours all you do is laugh at the quirky remarks by his counsellor who wanted him to be a better person. And Hancocks own cocky personality. Seriously it was one heck of a movie. If you want to watch, make sure you bring your popcorn, small if you can't handle the pressure by Hancock.
However, Hancock maybe modern superman, but he didn't really knock out me. My rating is 3/5

Fascinated with Apologetics...
After reading the counter-post I really show "respect" to that guy. Great counter. Innovative, creative English writing or words, used in the way to protect what God's work is doing, that is, the Art of Apologetics.
I mean this guy may not really be a Christian. But as Enling states in the blog, " I want to know what goes on in his mind." I have been fascinated with it since I was first introduced to it on a website my friend let me read. It has something to do with Science and how these stories show how smart it is to counter to scientist argument. A little kid could do that.
Indeed the guy not just defended CHC, but churches in general. I seriously do not understand, why do fellow churches go against each other? Aren't we all striving for the same purpose? Aren't we all connected to that One Source, Jesus Christ who is the way the truth and the life.
Sure scriptures are important, however, the world does not really see it. They could not comprehende the bible. The only way was to SHOW them, through works. I like it how Ian says that both go hand in hand. Yes it is true that both Spiritual as well as Practical works have to be carried out hand in hand for it to reach real effective reaching out
Well, my eyes are going to close right now. Talk more about it sometime.
