The Dark Knight

I decided to dedicate this whole post to the movie I've just watched. It was one of the most well thought of, well directed movies ever! The cast are amazing! The late Heath Ledger did an amazing job in this movie!

I decided to give my ratings first. Its 10/10. Heck it can even be 20/10. Its amazing! Thanks to the Joker's acting. Heath was amazing in this movie.

The whole story started out as Gotham City was under alot of pressure from many mob groups. A rising politician, known as Harey Dent was bent on putting these people into custody. Also meanwhile, there have been robberies of banks carried out by people wearing clown masks and that, was where, the Joker was introduced.

This whole movie is 2 and a half Hours. WORTH IT!

Batman could never be so human in this flick. It was always a great challenge whenever Batman faces Joker. It was two sides of the world if you put these two faces together. Joker represents the mindless, the totally immoral, the madness, the insanity of corruption. He was the Joker.

Batman was all what he represents. The symbol of no Corruption, to bring justice according to the law, his self-righteousness is what he has been holding on. Batman was hope, justice, peace, love, a symbol that will help in times of need. Yet he was only human.

This movie even put in the bad guy, two face, who was Harvey Dent. Corrupted by the words of the Joker and was on a rampage to get things right, his way.

Be assured, at least 90% of the movie is all about the Joker and batman. It was a storm to be reckoned with. Take a journey into Joker's past, feel his insanity through his words, his laughter, he was really the representation of the ugly side of all of us. All he wanted was pleasure. The pleasure of KILLING innocent lives. He found it so fun to watch the Batman suffer under all his antics. But this also proves that Joker was not a pushover.

As the movie goes, see how the Joker manipulates people. And even manipulate the whole city. The struggles the Batman have to go through even I had to admit that it was too much for a mere human to handle. And thats the thing about Batman. He is only human. All he had was skills and gadgets. Yet even as he safe the people, he was despised and persecuted. No one liked him. But at the end, Batman made many decisions, some maybe wrong, but all he did was to save the people of Gotham City. When the people need Batman, he would appear but risk getting caught by the authorities.

As I leave it at this so that you can watch, I wanna qoute something the Joker said to the Batman when he was suspended on a wire, at the roof of the building.

"This is what happens when an unstoppable force collides with an immovable object." Joker was saying that he was the unstoppable force because he initiates all the attacks. An immovable object was the Batman. He was immovable in such that he can't be corrupt. He will stand his ground on Justice which oppose the Joker's way of force.

Indeed, I sometimes feel the Joker and Batman are two sides of our lives. Batman being the one that endure everything to the end, or be Joker the one who destroys all in the name, of pleasure.

Of course, If there is the Joker, you can bet Batman is nearby and vice versa.

Cheers =)
