Happy Birthday to ME!

It is my Birthday today! And its coming to an end in another half an hour!

So how did I spend my actual Birthday?

Well, I had a test in the afternoon. =_= Yes a test on my birthday. Thanks for your sympathy Mr Chang (my lecturer). Anyway I went for the test. And even worse, the Paper pulled a fast one on me. He came out a question which I have never learned before. Well actually i learned before but it was LAST SEMESTER's Course that I learn. He said it was tested before but i just could not believe it. Anyway i was really mad that he came out with that question along with the other questions which are hard! But what to do. Its a test meant to kill us, once again. He tell us there are graphs. In the end? NO GRAPH. Liar...

Enough of that. After the test, I went to Jam with my friend at the Aljunied Studio. The First hour, me and my drummer friend, Yan Shun, practiced our instruments first, me on E-guitar.

After which we tried to play "You and Me" by Lifehouse. We manage to get the verse and chorus right at the end of the hour. But it was times-up. We extended the second hour and by then, Weiloong and Bing Xun came to join us.

Both of them started playing church songs and my friend, not christian, played his own thing. And me? I was trying to figure out what song to play. But it was noisy. And yet it was fun too.
Bing Xun and Weiloong started playing the Hillsong hits like Tell The World, One Way drum intro, and even the secular Chinese song, Qing Tian intro. After which we decided on my friends choice of the music.

It is a pretty hard song to sing to as the singer of this song has a pretty high voice. And this song sounds nice when played high so no exceptions. We did the song the whole remaining time we had. It was fun.

After that, we went our way home. Shun and I took the train back. I called my mom to ask if they are having dinner outside, I thought they will remember my birthday. But the moment I heard my mom said that my Father had bought food home. I was a little disappointed. I mean, my brother's actual birthday, we went out for dinner. In the end, my mom caught onto my 'sad' voice and she remembered.

"Oh ya! Today is you special day! I tell you what, I go eat dinner with you. Your brother already got the food Dad bought for him."

So i went to eat with my mom. This was a good chance to share my thoughts with her. Which we had a fun time talking together about certain things. I told her about my wish as well as my dream and how I belong more to the arts sector. Even I realize that at least 80% of my time is dwelling on the arts. Be it music, drawing, film, anime, you name it I do it watch it and sleep with it. For sleeping its music. LOL!

So I am glad we get to converse as well as eat a scrumptious meal of Sakae Sushi's newly installed Teppanyaki area. It was worth the money. $40 plus for four dishes and two chwanmushi, two miso soup, two ice cream sherbet. With add on of sashimi, california maki, and california hand-roll as well as the Soft shell crab. YUM YUM!

It was actually on of the happiest birthday in the end. Get to talk to Rie at night too XD Perk my night up. Really great to have best friends when you have a birthday.
